My stock price for cleaning any size mattress in any condition within Melbourne is $150. My prices per mattress drop significantly if additional mattresses can be cleaned at the same address on the same day (my price for a full clean on multiple mattresses is $50 each). That being said, my base price can also vary depending on your location and urgency.
If you or your family have dust mite allergies or suffer from eczema I would suggest schedulling in a dust mite sanitation for every 6 months. If bed wetting is a problem or if there has been any vomiting or diarrhoea on your mattress I’d suggest an immediate appointment otherwise a mattress cleaning once every 12 months would be considered good house keeping.
I have 18 years of experience removing urine stains from mattresses and I can honestly say that I have never attempted a urine stain removal job without having some if not complete stain removal success on every single occasion.
Sweat stains can be tough but If they can be gotten out my process, products and knowledge will remove them. The age of the stains and the fabric they are attached to play a major role, any stain that heats up and cools down hundreds of times can be hard to totally reverse.
When it comes to blood stains on a mattress time is critical. To totally remove a blood from a mattress action is required within 48 hours. If I cannot come to you within this period it is best to pre soak the stained area by lightly padding the affected area with warm salty water.
Hydrogen peroxide, steam and extraction will remove all the mould spores and reduce or totally remove any stain that was caused by the mould.
Absolutley! By eliminating the food source of the dust mite (your dead skin scales) the battle is half won. The dust mite sanitiser that I spray down after a mattress clean then repels any attempt of dust mites returning for up to 6 months.

Prior to mattress cleaning be sure that your drying conditions are adequate. If you have ventilation from an air conditioner, pedestal fan or a ceiling fan and you have an A.M appointment you will more than likely be back on your mattress again that night. If conditions are less than perfect your mattress will probably take a bit longer to dry. A double sided mattress may take longer to dry. A double sided mattress should also be left to dry on its side and occasionally rotated to insure that it dries evenly. Heavily soiled mattresses may also take longer to dry.
The sanitising products and extraction service that I provide will ensure that your mattress is dust mite free for up to six months, the dust mite spray that I use has been tested and approved to stop any reinfestation of dust mites for this period.
Padding the area until most of the liquid is important, use a white towel and press gently around the area until no more moisture can be soaked up. Apply a generous amount of baking soda to the affected area. At this point you can place a towel over the area, re make the bed and go back to sleep. Vacuum up the bi carb of soda the next day. You can repeat this bi carb/vacuum treat as often as you like, bi carbonate soda is simply the best way to absorb as much moisture as possible. Calling me within the next few days to professionally clean and sanitise your mattress would be your next best course of action.
Yes I do. The processes and products that I can use may differ a little depending on some of the fabrics and fillings but they are all cleanable in one way or another.
That all depends on your own personal hygiene. Is washing your sheets, pillow covers and pyjamas worth it? If breathing, sneezing, coughing or itchiness becomes a problem at bedtime I’d suggest that its probably time to have all those allergens removed from your sleeping area.
